The ORECK commercial 550MC orbiter floor machine is a floor buffer with an orbital drive and a finger control that is used for cleaning wood, vinyl, tile, and other hard floors and for dry-cleaning and loosening dirt from carpeted floors. The orbital drive oscillates the 12 In. brush or pad (sold separately) on the bottom at up to 175 revolutions per minute (RPM) to buff, clean, polish, sand, scrub, strip, or wax floors without making the machine twist or creating swirl marks or gouges. A 50 Ft. power cord enables the floor machine to cover a larger area without changing outlets than machines with shorter cords. The machine weighs 24 Lbs. and has a 13-inch-wide cleaning path and a 3/4 HP, 5.4 amp motor. It is suitable for use with various accessories including brushes, pads, bonnets, shampoos, and cleaning solutions (sold separately).
