This tool features a StripGuard™ clutch, a system that protects the gears in the reel from becoming damaged by excessive force or snagging lines. To keep this clutch and other internal components safe from harsh jobsite environments, the Milwaukee 100-foot bold line chalk kit has a reinforced reel housing. A new planetary gear system helps ensure longer gear life as well. A 6:1 retraction ratio means the chalk line returns to the reel housing quickly when you finish using it. The braided line provides sharper detail and improved strength. When Milwaukee jobsite chalk reels are in storage or not in use, the flush-folding handles prevent reel handle movement.
