The Metabo SB 18 LTX-3 BL Q I bare 18V Brushless Cordless ½” Hammer Drill is German engineered and manufactured to provide extreme power, safety, and extended runtime for the most demanding industrial applications. Metabo’s 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor technology runs cooler and maximizes the energy transfer from the battery to the spindle, creating highest efficiency for longer motor life, maximum continuous power, and extended run time. The selection switch changes from drilling mode (rotation only) to hammer drilling mode (rotation with impact). The tool has a maximum impact rate of 32,300 BPM. The tool features 3 speeds with max. RPM of 3,800/min for expanded range of use and even faster drilling progress. Its slim design with rubber coated grip provides comfort and control during extended use. The tool features Precision Stop electronic controls for precise control in a wide range of applications, as well as drill mode for continuous power. Included with the electronics is an Overload Protection feature, as well as a selectable impulse mode for easy removal of damaged screws and spot-drilling on smooth surfaces. The package includes Quick-change chuck, Quick-change system, Side Handle, Belt hook with bit case, and metaBOX 145 L (bare tool only – batteries and chargers sold separately). Every Metabo battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life. Proprietary ULTRA-M™ technology allows the tool, battery, and charger to communicate with each other for optimized performance. Single Cell Protection in conjunction with Overload Protection prevents over-charge/over-discharge to the individual battery cells and extends service life of both the tool and battery pack by preventing damage from overheating.
