The Metabo KT 18 LTX 66 BL 18V Brushless Cordless Variable Speed Plunge Cut Circular Saw is German engineered for durability, safety, and productivity. The powerful brushless motor technology paired with electronic variable speed settings ranging from 2,250 – 5,000 RPM ensure high performance on a wide variety of materials. The plunge function allows for 2-19/32” (66 mm) depth of cut at 90°, and 1-11/16” at 45°. When used in combination with Metabo guide rails the maximum cutting depth is 2-13/32”. The bevel settings allow for an undercut of -1° to +46°. The tool features an electronic brake system, stopping the 6-1/2” diameter saw blade quickly after disengaging the trigger. The optimized motor placement enables cuts within 9/16” (14 mm) of the wall. The robust die cast aluminum saw blade housing with its transparent viewing window allows for visibility of the saw blade and cut line for additional precision. Dust-free cutting is possible when using the included dust bag or attaching the tool to a vacuum system via the adjustable dust ejection nozzle. The package includes a 6-1/2” 42-tooth saw blade, reversible flange for 5/8” or 20 mm arbor blades, dust bag, and is delivered in the metaBOX 340 stackable case (bare tool only – batteries and chargers sold separately).Every Metabo LiHD™ battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life. Proprietary ULTRA-M™ technology allows the tool, battery, and charger to communicate with each other for optimized performance. Single Cell Protection in conjunction with Overload Protection prevents over-charge/over-discharge to the individual battery cells and extends service life of both the tool and battery pack by preventing damage from overheating.
