The Makita 36 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless recipro saw kit includes a 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion dual port charger, two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery, 6 Inch 18 TPI metal cutting recipro saw blade and a tool bag. Tool is specially designed for a contractor for more faster, efficient cutting along with the convenience of tool-less blade change and a rapid charge time. This versatile cutting solution has a Makita built variable 2-speed brushless motor to deliver 0 to 2300 SPM (low) and 0 to 3000 SPM (high) for rapid cutting operation. This powerful brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge. Tool with 1-1/4 Inch stroke length, features refined crank mechanism design to minimize blade deflection and vibration. The X2 LXT® technology effectively delivers up to 155 cuts per charge in 2×10 SPF lumber using two 5.0 Amp-hour batteries. Tool is jam packed with features like large two-finger variable speed trigger for added convenience and reinforced fixed shoe for longer endurance. It has electric brake for increasing productivity and retractable tool hook to secure the tool when not in use. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Rapid charger has a built-in fan to cool the battery quickly.
