This Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless cut-out tool kit includes two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery, 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion rapid optimum charger, spanner wrench, 1/8 Inch collet cone, collet nut, two 1/8 Inch drywall cut-out bit and a tool bag. Powerful and efficient tool is great for drywall contractors with the cutting performance and power of a corded tool but without the hassles of a cord. Cut-out tool with Makita-built high performance motor delivers 30000 RPM for faster cutting. Tool featuring slim body design, improves user comfort. Tool has vent slots to direct air/debris away from the operator and slide switch with lock-on for improved operator convenience. Cut-out tool has on-board bit change capabilities to eliminate wrench requirement and conveniently located large shaft lock button for quick bit change. Slim body tool accepts both 1/8 Inch and 1/4 inch bits. Tool featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery’s built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature.
