The Makita 18 Volt LXT® Brushless Cordless Random Orbit Polisher Kit contains two 18 Volt batteries, battery charger, 5″ hook-and-loop backing plate, 6″ hook-and-loop backing plate, hex wrench and tool case. The Dual action polisher gives the option of random orbit with forced rotation or free spin rotation. The high power mode gives corded power and the low power mode ensures longer runtime. The Polisher features a brushless motor, which eliminates the need of carbon brushes. Consistent controlling of the speed automatically delivers power to the motor to maintain the speed under load. Users can select the speed depending upon the application with five different speed settings. A soft start mechanism prevents sudden initiation for smooth start-ups. Star Protection technology helps in preventing overheating, over-discharging and overloading of the battery. The cordless design prevents the tangling of the cord and safeguards the delicate surfaces from marring. With a . rubberized gearing of the tool, the accumulation of dust and water inside the tool decreases. The Power switch lock-on mechanism enhances comfort and ensures continuous use.
