The Makita 12 Inch brushless cordless top handle chain saw is a perfect tool for pruning, trimming and limbing applications. This chain saw is powered by a 22 cc brushless motor and delivers up to 150 cuts with the help of a 18 Volt Lithium-Ion battery. Torque boost mode helps in cutting dense, thick materials. Automatic chain contains a large reservoir and can be adjusted easily to ensure smooth lubrication. Lateral chain tensioning and the captured bar nut makes it easy to handle and operate the chain saw. Oil filling port consists of a view window that allows the user to check the oil level. The LED light with an on/off switch features an auto-power function that shuts off the saw after 60 seconds of operation. Soft grip top handle has a rubberized design that minimizes user fatigue and ensures user comfort. Saw produces lower noise levels and zero emissions for operator comfort. Variable speed trigger allows the user to alter the operating speed from 0 to 4720 FPM depending upon the application. Electric brake increases productivity and the lock-off lever avoids accidental initiation of the chain.
