The jaws and body of the clamp are made of steel and resin to help prevent damage to materials and prevent glue from sticking to the tool. With a max jaw opening of 24 inches, use the Irwin parallel jaw clamp with many different materials. At 3-3/4-inches, the deep jaw depth of this tool means the clamping pressure is distributed evenly over wood. An integrated locking system keeps the jaws of the Irwin clamp in place while you glue, drill or saw.
