For safety when used around live wires, the unit is non-conductive. The Greenlee non-conductive fish pole is lightweight as well, which helps reduce user fatigue, even after repeated use. For improved security when the pole is in a collapsed position, it features a Velcro strap that also helps make transport and storage easier.This fish pole is self-contained and features a friction locking system that helps keep it securely open when in use.
