Specifically engineered for heavy duty applications, the XLT tapper can tap steel/ferrous materials up to 9/16 In. (14 mm) and aluminum/non-ferrous materials up to 5/8 In. (16 mm). High tech features such as, auto reverse, speed control, and pivoting tap collet reduce tap breakage saving you time and money on the job. With the operator in mind, the XLT tapper is easy to use and lightweight, featuring a depth-stop to control threading depth, and includes a spindle clutch for safer jam-free tapping.
