The 3M™ 1492-XL wind energy harness is an extra-large size harness designed with a fixed frontal D-ring for optimal ladder climbing in wind energy environments. This harness includes a fall arrest indicator located below the back/shoulder pad. This indicator is set to deploy at less than 900 pounds pressure. Back and shoulder pads contain x-shaped trapezoidal slots for webbing. Adjusters are alloy steel on the vertical straps, chest strap sliders are black ethylene vinyl acetate composite with integral lanyard keeper. Web keepers are black high-density polyethylene, web ends are logo black high-density polyethylene.
