A rugged aluminum shoe on the Bosch corded planer features a machined groove for accurate chamfering operations while a ratcheting depth knob with separate inch and metric scales allow precision. The included carbide blade utilizes micro-grain technology for extended service life while the spring-loaded stand of the Bosch wood planer helps protect the blade when not in use.
