The SawStop® Brake Cartridge-Dado 8-inch Clear Blue is revolutionizing table saw safety. Compatible with 8-inch dado blades up to 13/16 inches thick to provide revolutionary SawStop protection. Includes a sealed housing that contains the SawStop system electronics and an aluminum block called a brake pawl. A high-speed actuator pushes the brake pawl into the teeth of the saw blade in the event accidental contact is detected. Each brake is only designed for single use and must be replaced in the event the safety system is activated during operation. Compatibility with JSS, PCS, ICS, and CNS series saws allows for increased versatility. Designed with quick replacement in mind during activation. Works with non-conductive materials and all woods. This SawStop system fits all models of SawStop table saws with exception to older models.
