The Makita’s star protection computer control protects battery by avoiding over-heating and over-loading. The 3-stage LED gauge alerts about the battery charge level. Wire mesh intake covers are designed to avoid debris from entering motor. Electric brake stops the wheel in 2 seconds or less on release of the paddle switch. Spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and also ensure efficient energy transfer.
