The Makita’s star protection computer control protects battery by avoiding over-heating and over-loading. The 3-stage LED gauge alerts about the battery charge level. Wire mesh intake covers are designed to avoid debris from entering motor. Electric brake stops the wheel in 4.5 seconds or less on release of the paddle switch. AFT® technology turns the motor off if rotation of the wheel is suddenly forced to stop. It includes grinding wheel, cut-off wheel, grinding wheel guard and cut-off wheel guard. It is compatible with 18 Volts Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol. Auto-start wireless system utilizes Bluetooth® technology for wireless power On/Off communication between tool and dust extractor.
