The DEWALT® 7-inch 8,500 4.9 HP Angle Grinder combines a multitude of technologies to enhance grinding capabilities. Its 15-Amp motor runs at a maximum of 8,500 RPM to get jobs done quickly. This particular angle grinder is a part of the Perform and Protect™ line of tools, giving it unique control and vibration features. The 7-inch grinder’s Power-Loss Reset® control feature prevents unintentional re-starts due to power disruptions as a result of the tool being left in the on position. The anti-vibe trigger handle reduces vibration and user fatigue. Avoid overloading or burn-ups with the Power-Off® overload protection feature which electronically turns off the device on its own when necessary. In addition to a high power 8,500 RPM motor, this angle grinder has the Dust Ejection System™, which ejects harmful particles that get inside the tool and can damage the motor and internal components. The Dust Ejection System also extends brush life.
